A JOURNEY OF PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE: TRI TIN SEA GRAPES WELCOMES FACULTY AND STUDENTS FROM AN GIANG UNIVERSITY
Bridging the gap between academia and industry, Tri Tin Sea Grapes proudly hosted a field trip for International Economics students from An Giang University to explore export strategies and standard organic cultivation.
Bridging the Gap Between Academic Theory and Corporate Practice
In today’s rapidly evolving global economy, integrating academic knowledge with practical business operations is a top priority for educational institutions. Recently, Tri Tin Sea Grapes Co., Ltd. had the distinct honor of welcoming a delegation of lecturers and students from the Faculty of International Economics at An Giang University for a comprehensive field trip at our production facilities and aquaculture farms.
For Tri Tin, this visit was far more than a conventional corporate tour. It served as a valuable platform for academic dialogue and knowledge sharing between seasoned market practitioners and an ambitious younger generation. Here, abstract theories from the lecture halls were transformed into vivid, real-world lessons, providing students with a direct and insightful look into how Vietnamese agricultural products navigate the global supply chain.
A Hands-On Journey: 5 Core Pillars of International Standards
To maximize the educational value for the students, the management and experts at Tri Tin curated a specialized program combining field exploration with deep-dive technical discussions, structured around five key areas:
1. Practical Insights with Engineer Le Ben:
Students had the unique opportunity to learn from Engineer Le Ben, the pioneer who laid the foundation for sea grape cultivation technology in Vietnam. Moving beyond traditional startup stories, the Tri Tin team shared hard-earned lessons on brand positioning, consumer behavior analysis, and the strategic agility required to navigate the volatile global agricultural market.
2. Specialized International Economics Seminar:
Tailored specifically to the students' major, this session delved deep into export strategies for high-premium and strictly regulated markets, such as Japan, the United States, and the European Union. The company discussed how to overcome Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT), comply with strict phytosanitary regulations, and optimize domestic supply chain management—from harvest to logistics.
3. Advanced R&D at the Modern Laboratory:
A major highlight of the tour was the exploration of Tri Tin’s state-of-the-art testing laboratory. Students observed first-hand our rigorous quality control system, which monitors microbiological indicators, salinity levels, and product safety protocols before packaging. This experience emphasized that a successful exporter's reputation rests on an unwavering commitment to consistent product quality.
4. Exploring Future Trends – The Red Algae Sector:
Looking beyond the current success of sea grapes, Tri Tin introduced the students to our newly developed Red Algae cultivation zone—a highly promising project backed by methodical investment. This showcased the company’s forward-thinking strategy to diversify its product portfolio, embrace green consumer trends, and sustainably harness marine resources.

5. Field Experience in Cultivation and Processing Zones:
Transitioning from the seminar room to the field, the delegation visited our natural aquaculture ponds to study the marine ecosystem and international cultivation standards. Following the farm tour, they observed the post-harvest centrifugal processing and the meticulous manual sorting performed by skilled technicians—a vital step ensuring only the finest, nutrient-rich sea grapes reach our global customers.

Pride in the Next Generation and a Mission to Empower Knowledge
Throughout the entire program, the team at Tri Tin was deeply impressed by the professionalism, curiosity, and proactive mindset demonstrated by the An Giang University students. The room was constantly filled with high-level discussions covering international payment methods, tariff structures, and logistics optimization in the post-pandemic era. Their sharp analytical skills and enthusiasm clearly showcase their potential as future leaders in international economics.
For Tri Tin Sea Grapes, contributing to the intellectual growth of the younger generation is not just a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, but a core corporate mission. Witnessing the talent and sharp insights of these students inspires us to expand our educational partnerships in the years to come.
Once again, Tri Tin Sea Grapes extends our heartfelt gratitude to the faculty and students of the Faculty of International Economics at An Giang University. We wish you all a persistent passion for your field, and the confidence to step out onto the global stage and achieve outstanding success in your future careers!
