Uses of seaweed
Cong Thuong - According to Japanese medical experts, in addition to its antibacterial, laxative and blood-enriching effects, seaweed also helps prevent dangerous diseases such as cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, obesity and goiter.
Umibudou seaweed (sea grapes)
As a precious, rare and nutritious seaweed, seaweed is affectionately called umibudou (sea grapes) by the Japanese. In addition to its beautiful color and shape, seaweed is also favored for its superior uses compared to many other types of seaweed because it is a green, clean vegetable, crispy, sweet, easy to eat, not fishy, can be eaten raw with many types of dipping sauces and easily combined with other foods to create many delicious, strange and nutritious dishes. Suitable for all ages, especially for children and the elderly, for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Used to decorate dishes or make a natural skin care mask without mixing.
Currently, the production of sea grapes in Japan is not enough to meet consumer demand despite the high price. Therefore, this type of seaweed grown in the central coastal region of our country is mainly exported to Japan because of its good quality and reasonable price, only a small amount is sold in the domestic market.
